Tässä kolme kuvaa Lännen ”ilkeimmän” kaupungin Dodge Cityn Front Street’istä.
Ylimmäinen kuva vuodelta 1873 on yksi ensimmäisistä valokuvista, joka on otettu Front Street’istä. Junarata halkoo pitkin kuvaa oikealta.
Keskimmäinen kuva on vuodelta 1912 ja alimmaisessa sama paikka vuodelta 1970. Purkutyöt jo käynnissä. Mitä Wyatt Earp, Bill Tilghman ja vaikkapa Bat Masterson olisivat tykänneet tästä näystä?

Tähän loppuun vielä L. A. Huffman’in hieno valokuva ”Buffalo Hunter’s Camp” .

"the dead Medicine Man, probably Sits Straight, also called Good Thunder, and not Yellow Bird as suggested by ethnologist James Mooney;"
Ja kuvaaja ei kai sitten ehkä ollutkaan Trager itse:" Although copyrighted by the Northwestern Photographic Co. and frequently credited to the company’s founder, George Trager, the images were actually taken by Clarence Grant Moreledge. Morledge, a young photographer living at the Pine Ridge Agency when the massacre started, was able to take the first photographs of the aftermath for Trager before other photographers who were delayed by the snowstorm arrived on the scene."
